I'm sorry for the lack of writing in this comment but well I am not with the patience for that so I'll leave the creation of a story for yourselves, if you want you may comment with your story. But my idea was that the destruction summoner has been summoning monstruous beings from simple objects to help her destroy the world not that much of a story but better than nothing

Some aspect you might not see in this drawing:
If you like astronomy and know at least the zodiac constelations you will see the Leo's Zodiac sign constelation on the sky over the lion's head.
Other aspect that you see but may not understand is the red lightning effects near the two characters. So here's how it goes:

The summoner is casting a spell to summon creature from the depths of the hells, IT might NOT seem so, but the lion will manage to grow larger and stronger than normal lions. The light over the lion's throat is the light showing how the stone fades and the lion becomes real.
